Where is Marlborough Farm?
Marlborough Farm is just outside Calabogie, Ontario, in the beautiful Ottawa Valley.It is easy to get to by car. From Montreal or Ottawa, take 417 until it turns into Highway 17 and look for county road 508. Take 508 to Calabogie. At Calabogie, turn onto 511.
From Toronto, Kingston or upper New York state, take Highway 7 to Perth and follow county road 511.
From 511, turn onto the Barryvale Road. Turn left onto Tatty Hill Road (before the golf course) and climb the hill. A few hundred feet later, turn left again onto Stoughton Side Road and follow it to the end. That's Marlborough Farm.
What about flights?
The nearest international airport is in Ottawa, about a 90-minute drive away. Air Canada is having a seat sale until August 24 - check out their website.
And accommodation?
The farmhouse itself is likely to be filled with farm members for the weekend. However, there is lots of room for tents and camping on the grounds.

What about gifts?
Gifts are not necessary. However, if you do want to give something to Richard and Asa, gift certificates (available on-line) from Canadian Tire (so much more than tires!) would be appropriate and appreciated - there is a Canadian Tire store just a few blocks from their Perth Apartment. Another useful Canadian on-line gift source is the Hudson's Bay Company, a place of relative taste; Loomis Art Store can provide material for Asa’s painting and sculpture needs; and Richard is as fond of flavorful foods as he is of Asa — take a look at epicureanfoods.com/ca/main.php. These are of course only suggestions. Surprises are fun too..
